Pumpkin Pie Sugar Cinnamon Toast

This toast makes me feel like a kid again! Before this recipe, I truly believe the last time I made “cinnamon toast” was when my kids were little, about 20 years ago.

I grew up making this for myself for breakfast. It was something simple enough and “safe” enough (no sharp knives involved) that I could take care of my own breakfast or after-school snack. And what kid doesn’t like sugar??

Pumpkin Pie Sugar Cinnamon Toast

I have featured The Spice and Tea Exchange’s “Pumpkin Pie Sugar” with a smidgen addition of their “Ceylon Cinnamon.” I love cinnamon (especially in coffee creamer), so I amped up the cinnamon flavor. Extra cinnamon is not necessary since the Pumpkin Pie Sugar does contain cinnamon.

There are no amounts for the ingredients. It is “measure by heart.” And your love for cinnamony-sugar with some pumpkin pie flair.

I have served this yummy toast with The Spice and Tea Exchange’s Black Chocolate Tea.

Enjoy!
