2teaspoonsground chipotle pepper, (or ancho, or other specialty ground chile powder)
2teaspoonsground cumin
1teaspoon paprika
2teaspoonssmoked paprika, hot or mild
2teaspoonsgarlic powder
2teaspoonsonion powder
1 1/2teaspoonsMexican oregano
1/2teaspoon ground coriander
Optional:
kosher salt, or other salt,to taste
1 - 2 teaspoonscrushed red pepper flakes,or to taste
1 - 2 teaspoons ground cayenne,or to taste
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients together very well. Store in an airtight container, preferably glass.
The seasoning will keep for 6 months up to a year, depending on the freshness of the spices you've used. Label your storage container with the name and date.
